So I don't have much time to blog, I have a stats exam calling my name! Ugh, happy Friday haha. And HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!
This week has been crazy (per usual in my life!), but the Boy and I got into a huge fight all day on Wednesday. In a nutshell, he was having a bad day and took EVERYTHING out on me. I couldn't win, and he just treated me like shit.
Needless to say, I'm not one to just sit back and take it, so I let him have it yesterday morning. He said he feels awful and he didn't mean to hurt me and he's so sorry and all that jazz.
So of course I'm still hurt (and still am a little. I'm quite scary and damaged, think Meredith from Grey's, which, ps, how much did I love last nights episode??). But he's been trying to make it up to me ever since.
Last night he surprised me when he got out of work by coming into my work and bringing me coffee from my favorite coffee place, and then he told me that he was going to wait for me to get done with work and then take me out to dinner. So we did, and he kept telling me that all day he was just consumed by thinking about how much he loves me and he never wants to let me go.
(I'm summarizing all this up quite quickly, lots of little bits and pieces that I'm leaving out, sorry!)
And then he called me this morning when I woke up and he said I was getting surprises today. And when I checked my email I had this:
Good morning baby :)
I wanted you to know that you're the best thing to ever happen to me and I couldn't be happier. I love everything about you and about us. I certainly have been blessed to have you come in to my life and I won't be letting you go. The past 5 months have been beyond incredible, and I can hardly wait for the next 5...surely they will be at least twice as good. I don't want to spoil you too much by spilling all the love-beans here, but I did want to have you wake up and start your day with a smile on your face. I love you so much baby, you're the best. Thank you for being my [Jenamie].

So the actual closest book to me, my Human Physiology book:
The different components of the plasma membrane carry out a variety of functions. As a quick preview, the lipid bilayer forms the primary barrier to diffusion, the proteins perform most of the specific membrane functions, and the carbohydrates play an important role in "self-recognition" processes and cell-to-cell interactions.
(If only it were still this easy, that was page 56, we're now up to 473)
Yes I know, I am so cool!
Time to get ready for my exam!

Good luck on the exam! I think he's making an honest effort :) Sounds like such a nice guy. David left me a sweet sticky note on my bathroom mirror the other morning when I was still snoozing. Love him!
